Bad Blood Film Challenge

To foster creativity and encourage filmmakers to keep producing even when they don’t have a crew, Emerald Coast Filmmakers and the Production Services Association of Northwest Florida have banded together to create a Film Challenge called the Bad Blood Film Challenge.

What is scarier than being cooped up for months in quarantine? Whatever your imagination can put on screen!

Join Emerald Coast Filmmakers for the 2020 Bad Blood Film Challenge. Use your creativity to come up with a horror short less than 3 minutes long using what you have at your disposal and following current social distancing guidelines. Don’t worry about it being slick—some of the most effective horror films are rough around the edges.

Official Selections will be screened on Facebook Live Sunday, October 25 at 5:00 pm to be followed by awards! Judging will look at imaginative storytelling, the scare quotient, and how much fun the filmmakers seemed to have in making it!

Follow Emerald Coast Filmmakers at facebook.com/EmeraldCoastFilmmakers.

Accepted entries for the Challenge will be announced on October 30th 2020. Watch the Emerald Coast Filmmakers Facebook page for more information or visit the official Blood Bath page on FilmFreeway.
